OCR done right with Google!!!
I was deciding what tip to give out today, and this one fell on my lap. And it is totally awesome!!!
What is OCR?
No, it is not that Obsessive Compulsive Disorder that Sheldon Cooper suffers from. <grins> It stands for Optical Character Recognition. Simply put, that means the ability of the computer to scan in a picture, recognize the words and put them into a document.
Cool! How can I do this?
You already know how to scan using the big copiers to email the document to yourself. The rest is easy. The link is attached below. I would type it all out, but why reinvent the wheel? When done, you have a Google Document that your can work in like any other!
